The article focus on Reminiscences of a Journey to Lithuania (1972) and the way Jonas Mekas works autobiography in cinema, with the ideas of errant and displacement. Both have the journey that the director did to Lithuania for the first time after the emigration to the USA with starting point. Voice over, spatial derivations through memories and places complete the film’s structure, which is a way of see and film what is personal beyond what is diaristic and autobiographic.
